HOW DOES THE NEUROMODULATOR WORK?

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS AND USES WE CAN TREAT USING A NEUROMODULATOR?

Conditions: Forehead wrinkles, frown lines, crow’s feet, wrinkles under the eyes, bunny lines, gummy smile, smokers lines, marionettes lines, necklines, platysma bands and Nefertiti lines)

AT WHAT AGE SHOULD I CONSIDER BOTOX?

Botox® injection by a trained practitioner is, of course, a treatment for wrinkles and fine lines, where a few injections would pull these unwanted imperfections right off your face at any age.
For others, Botox® is more preventative than restorative. Its active neuromodulator ingredient “freezes” facial muscles to keep you from contracting them in ways that deepen lines and wrinkles.
Therefore, the earlier you get Botox, the more preventative effects you achieve. In other Words, the trend of getting Botox as early as your 20s is a great preventative tool.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER THE INJECTION?

After Botox® injection, the patient might rarely experience minor redness and/or bruises.
Botox® injection treatment has minimal to almost no downtime; which makes it possible for you to get the injection during your lunch time and allows you to get back to work.
You should start seeing results within a week, and optimal results in about 2 weeks. Results usually last an average of 3 to 4 months.

HOW LONG DOES THE INJECTION(S) TAKE?

The injection treatment itself can take about 10-15 minutes. However, if this is your first visit, you should give yourself about 45 minutes to go through the initial consultation.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

WHAT ARE THE CONTRAINDICATIONS?

Neuromodulators injection must be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; due to the lack of enough studies to prove its safety in pregnancy and lactation. Neuromodulators injection is also a contraindication if you are known to have myasthenia gravis.
