O-SHOT® AT REVIVE
The O-Shot® at REVIVE Medical Spa in Barrie is a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) procedure used as part of personalized women’s sexual wellness care. PRP is prepared from a small sample of your own blood and contains a concentrated level of platelets within the plasma.
O-Shot® treatment may be considered for selected women experiencing concerns involving sexual sensitivity, arousal, lubrication, orgasm or other intimate-wellness symptoms. Research into vulvovaginal PRP is developing, and results vary between patients, so treatment suitability and expected outcomes are discussed individually rather than guaranteed.

WHAT IS THE O-SHOT®?
The O-Shot® is a PRP-based injection procedure. Treatment begins with a small blood draw. The blood is then processed in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate platelets within the plasma.
After the treatment area is prepared and numbing medication is applied, the PRP is injected into selected intimate tissues according to the treatment protocol. Because PRP is prepared from your own blood, it is considered an autologous treatment.
Researchers are studying vulvovaginal PRP for female sexual function and other intimate-health concerns. Current research is promising in some areas, but treatment protocols and results vary and further high-quality studies are still needed.
BLADDER-CONTROL CONCERNS
