What results can I expect from microneedling treatments?

Day 1: Immediately after microneedling, expect redness, warmth, and tightness similar to a mild sunburn.
Days 2-3: Redness and warmth diminish, and the skin may appear splotchy with tightness and dryness. Flakiness may occur as the skin regenerates.
Days 3-5: Healing progresses, skin tone becomes smoother and more even. Any remaining dryness typically resolves on its own.

Is micro-needling safe for all skin types?

Which machine do you use at Revive Medical Spa?

We use the Dermaroller by Dermaspark and Morpheus 8 Microneedling with Radio Frequency, the leading machines in the whole micro-needling industry. Using such a great machine means better results, is a safer option and provides less chances of complications if any.

Which areas can be treated with microneedling?

In addition to using micro-needling on face for acne scars, fine lines and improving skin texture in general, micro-needling can also be used for neck, decollete area, breast cleavage, hands, stretch marks on the body, surgical scars and also our scalp to simulate hair growth and protects against hair loss and helps with hair restoration.

What are the precautions before microneedling?

Prepare for your microneedling treatment by avoiding harsh skincare products like retinoids or exfoliants for up to 5 days prior to your session to prevent irritation. Protect your skin from sun exposure with regular sunscreen use. Inform your skincare professional about any medications, especially blood thinners, as they may need to be temporarily stopped.
Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using moisturizers. Ensure you’ve had a thorough consultation to confirm suitability. If you’re using acne treatment medications, they may need to be paused. Avoid wearing a mask for 2 days post-treatment and plan your session at a convenient time to follow all after-care instructions effectively.
