How does the Vampire Facial® work?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your blood is combined with microneedling in the Vampire Facial® to improve skin texture and stimulate the synthesis of collagen. Microneedling makes microscopic skin punctures to allow for deep PRP penetration after removing and processing your blood to isolate PRP. There is less downtime with this technique, which creates firmer, smoother skin.

The procedure starts with a blood draw, which is then processed to extract platelets. Skin cleaning and the use of topical anesthetic are included for comfort. Does the Vampire Facial® hurt?
