  Chronic Migraine Headaches is a Chronic Medical Condition that affects a big sector of Our Community. 

If you experience Chronic Migraine, this can have a negative influence on your quality of life, Social interaction, Missing days of work, general Anxiety, and Depression. 

If you are experiencing Newly diagnosed Headaches, you need to consult your Primary Care Physician or See a Neurologist for an appropriate diagnosis. 

Once Diagnosis is made to be a Chronic Migraine condition, you can start on Medications to help with Pain Severity. 

This can include and not limited to Tylenol , NSAIDS (eg: Naproxen , Aleve, Advil, Toradol) and Triptans Family eg: Maxalt and Sumatriptan.  

In some cases, even stronger medications like Narcotics are being used to control more Severe Migraine Attacks. 

The other Route of Treatment options is Prophylactic Medications, not to help so much with the Migraine Severity but to help more with Migraine Frequency. 

These Medications include and are not limited to Beta Blockers (eg: Propranolol), Amitriptyline, Gabapentin, Lyrica...

 Even though some patients respond very well to the above-mentioned treatments, especially if combined, Many others Experience very Minimal help if any. 

   We always encourage our Clients to have a Headaches diary to mark when the Migraine Attack starts, how many days it last, and how severe it is. 

If you find that your "Migraine Free Days" are equal to or less than 15 days a month, after trying the other mentioned Options, That means you can be a good Candidate for Botox® Injection. 

If you have a Private Insurance Plan, You may be entitled to Insurance Coverage for the Botox® Medication.
